Members who do not have a French checking account can pay the membership fee at the annual conference in September. The annual fee is 30 euros for professors, 15 euros for retired colleagues, PhD candidates, students and independent scholars (the PayPal fee is slightly higher). Membership is compulsory in order to talk at SERCIA conferences, vote at the general assembly and be included in SERCIA publications. Membership is not required for publication in Film Journal.
