Eligibility requirements
– For postgraduates only
– Not employed in a permanent position at the time of application
– Must be a member of SERCIA
– Must be presenting on a panel at the SERCIA conference
Proposed amount
– €200 when the conference is in the country of residence
– €300 when the conference requires travel to a foreign country
The application should be sent at the same time as the conference paper proposal is sent to the conference organizers. Notifications of acceptance will be sent once the proposal is accepted.
Applications for the travel bursary should be sent by email to the SERCIA President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The application should include a detailed budget and the conference proposal, indicating whether the applicant has received/will be receiving funding from another source.
A maximum of two grants per year are awarded.
